AI in practice – when architecture becomes a competitive advantage

Event

Oslo | 28th May | 08:30 - 11:30

Most companies have started with AI – through pilot projects, tools, and standalone initiatives.

At the same time, we see a clear pattern where many initiatives provide less value than expected. The challenge rarely lies in the AI technology itself but in how the IT architecture is built – and how well the company is able to utilize its own data.

The question many have forgotten to ask themselves is: How do we build IT architecture that provides the best conditions to differentiate from competitors in an AI-driven world.

At this morning event, we will look at what needs to be in place to succeed in practice.

Agenda

We go through key architectural principles, show examples of solutions that provide measurable business value, and look at what the development will mean for companies' system landscape.

Coffee and light breakfast. An informal start with the opportunity to meet others who work with the same challenges.
Bjørn Mølster (Manager at Alpha Solutions Norway) welcomes and gives a short introduction. Why is IT architecture important in an AI world?
Thomas Halling (Solution Architect and partner at Alpha Solutions) reviews the architectural principles and concrete approaches that make it easiest to drive AI solutions. We show concrete examples of how system landscapes, data, and integrations should be adjusted – and where many companies make mistakes.
Coffee break
Tom Børvan (AI expert and project manager at Alpha Solutions) shows concrete examples of how AI is used in developing solutions for Norwegian businesses today.
Coffee break
Thomas Halling presents how agent-based AI will change commerce and digital customer journeys. What happens when the user interface is replaced by autonomous processes, and how does it affect future architectural choices?
End of the professional program. For those who wish, there is an opportunity to stay for a light serving, networking and informal dialogue – both with other participants and with us.
